Quality of Life Patch 1!


Just a few quick fixes and quality of life improvements, courtesy of mostly Emi:

  • Mouse now correctly gets captured on game start - no more pause/unpause to get mouse control!
  • Audio settings should save when you change them, so they won't reset when you die or quit.
  • New video settings, including resolution options!
  • Health indicator in the top left, plus health actually regenerates like it's supposed to (oops!!!)
  • Game Over screen, instead of an abrupt shunt back to the start. Very professional.

Upcoming content:

  • Improved AI! We actually already have much better AI from our AI dev I just couldn't figure out how to implement it in my exhausted state just before launch 😅
  • Expanded combat options! Which is to say, slapping enemies will actually kill them.
  • New area! Once you make your way through the mine, you'll find yourself precariously running along pipes along the side of cliffs! Much greener, much more precarious, and much more platforming focussed.
  • New enemy, which will be added to the mines as well to mix up the combat encounters a little more.
  • New music? 😮
